I am in Ontario looking for a house with my Mom, and I think I am pretty qualified to give you some DON'TS if You are selling your house.
1. NO underwear on the floor. It does not look artful. At all.
2. NO unsightly holes in the wall. Yuck.
3. NO garbage such as candy wrappers lying around.
4. NO really old furniture.
5. You should NOT be cooking lunch when the people come to visit and look at your house.
See? NEVER!!!!
Here is a video to brighten your day!

3 true stories
Okay, I've got 3 stories. One will make you laugh, one make you cry (Gosh, I hope not!) and one will make you very, very confused (no, wait isn't the last one supposed to make you scared? No, that's the same thing. Anyway...)
Silly Story: So, this is a story that my guide leader told us. She was in Montreal and she and her friend decided to go ice fishing. They didn't have a clue abut what was going on, so they asked some nice ice fishers to show them how. So, they sat there for maybe 3 hours, just looking hopefully at the little hole. Just as they were about to leave, they got a bite from an enormous fish! They brought it home and cooked it, and had to put it in the trunk of their car because it was so big.
Sad story: One of my friends Mom had a baby last week! She is very small and cute and ways a ridiculously small amount. Sniff.
Very, Very confused story: Hello how are you I am fine and how is your mother oh right she's in Europe having a wonderful tour and not cooking for you and how is your father oh scratch that I know how he is, and yes we are going to Hawaii soon, and how is school no don't be ridiculous it can't possibly be that bad, I'm sure your teachers just seem scary because after all your very young, no no of course you're not, I forgot you're turning 15 this spring, oh here's my luggage, call or e-mail me soon!
Anyways, I hope you are happy and sad and very, very, confused. Bye!
Big Toe Says: I always like to listen to people who don't make any sense at all.

Wow, People actually read my blog!
Well, they do! If you are looking at this from the super happy day link, Super Happy Day then you might not realize it, but people actually comment and stuff! I just want you to know I REALLY appreciate it.
Anyway, for people to comment I need to talk about something. In this case, it's my birthday. No! Not NOW! Get your cursor away from that comment button! In 2 weeks or so (wait....). Yeah 2 weeks. I will be 13! YAY!!!!!
My dad (who has to take care of me now that my mom isn't here) has no time to sneak away and buy me a present. But this happened last year too. Mom WAS here, but he took me with him to buy my birthday present to make sure it was what I wanted. :)
I am very happy today. I've no idea why. I think it's because I just got mountains of books yesterday and have only worked my way through half of them so far. (I read fast.)
I have been taking pictures of everything with my camera. my parents just bought a new one for Christmas, so I got the old one! YAY! Unfortunately, the scenery outside our house is not exactly picture-contest-winning-crowd-wowing-art-show material. So I am taking all my pictures in black and white!
See you (no wait, I won't. Never mind)
Big Toe Says: Look at this rock. I say it keeps tigers away.
Me: Why?
Big Toe: Well, you don't see any tigers, do you?
Me. I would like to buy your rock.

What is With these people?
I'd just like everyone to realize how very, well, strange some teachers are. When I was at mandarin today, I overheard a teacher in another classroom say: "Well, now. We'll begin the tests. You have 10 minutes to study all your material." I might add that the aforementioned classroom is a level 8 one, and that the students there get truckloads of material. 10 minutes? How about 10 months?
My friend told me this story: She was walking into her classroom and reading a book at the same time. She likes to read really long, thick books, and this one was a Jane Austen, I think. (I know, she's got a lot of time on her hands). Anyway, her teacher grabbed the book as she sat down and said "This reading material is far to grown-up for young girls like you. You were probably mutilating this book. I shall have to confiscate it." but then, later that day, she saw the teacher reading the book while eating a sandwich. Talk about hypocritical.
Anyway, I know people are crazy. It's a fact.
Bye!
Big Toe Says: Happy people make more money. It's proven. Look, I'm happy, and I'm making money because I'm telling you to be happy and buy stuff, and making money makes me happy.

How to Avoid a Brain Freeze
I was just reading about how when something cold touches your tooth you get a brain freeze. So all you have to do to get rich quick is bet a friend that you can finish a milkshake in less than 3 minutes without getting a brain freeze. then stick a straw into the glass, put the other end into your mouth (past the teeth) and drink. Quick Money!
Another tip: I see a lot of my friends with really strange nails. I try to make mine nice. If you have to push back the cuticles, do so only once a month. Pushing them back hurts the nail underneath the cuticle and makes it look funny when it grows enough to become visible.
Yet another tip: If you make a website, do NOT disable right-click. This makes it irritating for innocent people, and forces stealers to resort to stealing your whole page, not part of it.
Yet ANOTHER tip: If you get a deal online that looks to good to be true, read the fine print. In fact, ALWAYS read the fine print.
Yet AnOtHeR TIP: When having your picture taken, open your eyes wide (not too wide though) your eyes will squint when the flash clicks so opening your eyes wide will make them look more natural.
Big Toe Says: Girls are like slugs. They probably serve some purpose, but it's hard to imagine what.
Me: Totoro! No! Different quote.
Big Toe says: NO.
Me. Oh, okay. Girls around the world, don't take this personally.
