It's Snowing -- Still.

It snowed all of yesterday and it's wet snowing today. Here in Wetworld, home of the wet winters, we don't get a lot of snow, and while this one isn't exactly a let's-ski-down-the-hill-because-there's-a-meter-of-snow kind of deal, I still think it's pretty cool. Unfortunately, there's always that time where the snow turns to rain the the snow on the ground gets all mushy and brown. I think that might happen today.
The thing about winter is it's always too cold to do anything, but too warm to do winter sports. All you can do is just run around in the rain. Lovely.
My dad's birthday, Christmas, Our trip to visit my mom's family, and Our trip to China are all approaching much too fast. I think I might decide to hibernate.
We're spending Christmas with my mom's family, so we can't bring our big tree. Instead, we are taking my little tiny hot pink one, which, while it won't allow for many presents underneath, is still fun to decorate.
I think I'll have to go out and brave the snow soon.
Big Toe Says:Getting an inch of snow is like winning 10 cents in the lottery.
BTW, That's a quote from Calvin and Hobbes. I thought it was so cool that I really should credit the author. Bill Waterson, I salute you.
